Brigham Young University–Hawaii announced its fall 2025 devotional schedule. This semester, speakers include members of the leadership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, BYU–Hawaii employees, and other invited guests. Weekly campus devotionals are an important part of the BYU–Hawaii experience. This summer, BYU–Hawaii hosted the annual “For the Strength of Youth” (FSY), a program created by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for youth aged 14 to 18. This week-long event, which includes devotionals, games, team-building, and other exciting activities, helps youth connect with Heavenly Father and strengthen their testimonies of Jesus Christ while making friends and discovering their individual worth. BYU–Hawaii’s Banyan Dining Hall received top national honors at the 2025 Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards, hosted by the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS). The university earned gold in the Residential Special Event of the Year category for its “Pista Sa Nayon” celebration, a Filipino town fiesta-themed dining event.
