BYU-Hawaii Calendar of Activities, January 24-30, 2005

Scheduled activities during the week of January 10-17, 2005, include:

Monday, January 24:

Reminder: the Temple Visitors Center reopened on January 22.

Tuesday, January 25:

There is a School of Business entrepreneurship lecture in the McKay Auditorium at 10 a.m. Hale's karaoke will be held in the Aloha Center mall at 8 p.m.

Wednesday, January 26:

Hawaii Reserves, Inc. is sponsoring a blood drive at the Laie Shopping Center from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., call 293-6412 for more information.

Thursday, January 27:

The Mormon Pacific Historical Society is co-sponsoring this morning's devotional at 10 a.m. in the Cannon Activities Center, which features senior volunteer and retired BYU communications professor Dr. Alf Pratte who will share insights from the 50-year history of BYU-Hawaii he has been compiling for the past year. The Honors Classic Film series will be held from 7-11 p.m. The Performance Series features the African group, Ladysmith Black Mombazo, at 7:30 p.m. in the McKay Auditorium, $.

Friday, January 28:

The BYU-Hawaii Women's Organization will hold their monthly luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. in Aloha Center 155/165. The campus movie will be shown at 7 and 9:30 p.m. in the McKay Auditorium. It's BYUHSA "idol night" at 10 p.m. in the Cannon Activities Center.

Saturday, January 29:

There is a shuttle to Wal-Mart. Kahuku High will hold its annual song fest in the Cannon Activities Center from 7-8:30 p.m. (free). The campus movie, Bourne Supremacy, will be shown at 7 and 9:30 p.m., in the McKay Auditorium.

Sunday, January 30:

The BYU-Hawaii 3rd Stake Relief Society will hold leadership training in the Ballroom from 6-9 p.m.
