Directed by Dr. Michael Morris, the production brings together nearly 350 students and community members onstage, including the BYU–Hawaii Seasider Singers and Hoʻolōkahi Chamber Choir. Through music, movement, testimony, and culturally grounded perspectives, the production portrays events leading up to Christ’s birth and following His Resurrection.

“In 20 years of involvement with Savior of the World, I’m not aware of another production that has taken this intercultural approach,” said Dr. Morris. “Our students are bringing the cultures they call home to the story of Jesus Christ. We hope audiences will experience the wonder of His birth and Resurrection with fresh eyes and feel how deeply His message of hope speaks across cultures and generations.”

Three performances will be held at the Pacific Theatre at the Polynesian Cultural Center, 55-370 Kamehameha Highway, Laie:

  • Saturday, Nov. 28, 2026, at 12 pm
  • Sunday, Nov. 29, 2026, at 7 pm
  • Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2026, at 8 pm

The production runs approximately two hours, including a short intermission, and is intended for all ages. Free parking is available, with accessible drop-off at the entrance and accessible stalls.
