The Performance Series at BYU-Hawaii presents Julie de Azevedo live in concert this Friday, August 4 at 7:30pm in the McKay Auditorium.
Coming from a long family legacy of musical excellence, Julie began her solo career in 1988 with her self-titled debut album. Since then, she has become anicon in the world of faith-centered music. Her lyrical finesse has placed her among the upper echelon of inspirational singers, evident in the number of PearlAward she has received from the Faith Centered Music Association. Her projects have been featured in film, television, and radio.
Her latest album, appropriately titled Home, is reflective of her life as a busy mother wife, therapist and every other hat a woman wears. Home presents the intersection of life and faith with a focus on relationships – all types of relationships; those with Christ, with children, with spouses, with one's self, and even personal expectations.
Julie and her husband, Jeff, are the parents of three children and currently live in Salt Lake City, Utah. For more information on Julie de Azevedo or tolisten to clips of her music, please click here.
