Five BYU-Hawaii students recently traveled to Cambodia to experience life in a developing country and take part in humanitarian efforts to relieve poverty.
During their trip, a Vietnamese district in Phnom Penh caught fire and burned down. The students helped provide disaster relief and brought more supplies to the people. In conjunction with the relief group Tabitha, the students also built two houses within days. The new houses, constructed of better materials, will alleviate some several problems associated with poverty.
