BYU-Hawaii Concert Choir to Perform at Carnegie Hall
Wednesday evening, BYU-Hawaii's Concert Choir departed for New York City on a one-week tour culminating in a performance at the world-famous Carnegie Hall. After weeks of daily rehearsal, the choir is ready and excited to see the "BigApple" and to perform Mozart's Requiem at the premiere hall.

New Coaches in Place for Men’s and Women's Soccer

Two former Seasiders, and former teammates, were recently announced as the new
men’s and women’s head soccer coaches, respectively, at Brigham Young
University Hawaii. Jeff Miller, a former standout and team MVP, will begin to
rebuild a men’s program that was dropped while he was an assistant during
the 2000 season. The women’s team also announced a new head coach—Justin
Wagar, who spent the past season as the interim head coach of the women's soccer
team at Utah Valley State College. Wagar will have the task of building a program
from the ground up as BYU-Hawaii adds women's soccer to its athletic program
for the 2006-07 academic year.
BYU-Hawaii Athletic Director Ken Wagner said the school is excited about the new coaches and expressed confidence in their abilities to build their respective programs.
