BYU–Hawaii Presents: Little Women

This weekend, the BYU–Hawaii Music and Theatre Department will present a musical production of Little Women. The story portrays the love shared between four sisters and their mother, battling through tragedy, loss, and tests of strength.

Although the Music and Theatre Department performs multiple plays each year, they only have one musical annually. This year, the cast is made up of 24 talented students who auditioned and were chosen for their selective parts by Director Craig Ferre and Musical Director Michael Belnap.

“Everyone came together to produce a show that is powerful, full of talent, and enchanting to the core. It has been a privilege to be a part of this musical cast,” said Cassie Fryhoff, playing the character Marmee (the mother).

Little Women will have three showings, Thursday February 20, Friday February 21, and Saturday February 22, all at 7:30 PM in the Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased at the Aloha Center beforehand, and also at the door on the night of each performance.
