Devotional Speakers for Fall 2023 Semester
Brigham Young University–Hawaii announced its fall 2023 devotional speakers. This semester, speakers include members of the leadership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, BYU–Hawaii employees, and other invited guests. Weekly campus devotionals are an important part of the BYU–Hawaii experience. The purpose of campus devotionals is to gather as a campus community for a regular opportunity to experience the influence of the Holy Ghost through student-focused messages centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

International Processing Fee Requirement Discontinued
Brigham Young University–Hawaii will no longer collect an international processing fee from incoming international students effective Monday, August 14. Currently, international students must pay an international processing fee before starting their visa application process. This change will help incoming students by eliminating a step in their application process and will greatly reduce unnecessary administrative overhead at the university.

New Travel Study Program Takes BYUH Students to Church History Sites
Students from Brigham Young University–Hawaii recently embarked on the newly established Church History Travel Study Program. The program is an all-expenses-paid tour that visits dozens of historically significant sites for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With over eight central locations visited across multiple states, the trip is considered a once-in-a-lifetime venture students claim they would never have been able to undergo without acceptance into the program. Visiting these meaningful locations left a lasting impact on the students and faculty involved.

Brigham Young University–Hawaii President John S.K. Kauwe III and first lady Monica S. Kauwe recently journeyed to Mongolia to meet with local Church leaders, cherished alums, and prospective students. The visit was of special significance for church members as it coincided with the 30th anniversary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' establishment in Mongolia.
